Bad Gal Riri is celebrating five new Emmy nominations. The Primetime Emmy Awards nominations were announced Wednesday and the singer and serial entrepreneur took to Instagram to celebrate the milestone. She received nominations for her Super Bowl performance, The Apple Music Super Bowl LVII Halftime Show Starring Rihanna.

In her Instagram post, Rihanna shared a carousel of photos from her dressing room backstage at the Super Bowl. In the first picture she shared, the famous red jumpsuit she wore during her Super Bowl half-time performance is seen hanging next to a Barbados flag.

The following picture saw Rihanna posing, also backstage, with the baby bump she would later reveal during her half-time performance. The carousel ended with snippets from the much-talked-about show. In the caption of her post, Rihanna expressed her gratitude at the recognition.

A Controversial Comeback

Rihanna’s half-time performance was a much-awaited comeback. And although some fans had mixed feelings about her performance, which was more pared down and had no surprise guests, the show was well received overall.

As a review in Rollingstone noted, “The night belonged to Rihanna. And unlike the game, her halftime show had a satisfying climactic conclusion. At the end of “Diamonds,” she gazed around the stadium with a look of satisfaction, a conqueror surveying all the fireworks exploding in the sky. But you can see Rihanna knew it: She was the fireworks. All hail our new Super Bowl queen.”

Rihanna also announced her second pregnancy during the show. She breezed through some of her old and latest hits including “Only Girl in the World”, “We Found Love”, “Rude Boy” and “Work.” The show was choreographed by longtime collaborator Parris Goebel, Goebel also choreographs the dancing in the Savage x Fenty shows which also received a nomination. The choreographer celebrated with Rihanna, writing under Riri’s post, “Love you sis!!! We did summin.”
