Sally Beauty, one of our favorite in-store/online beauty supply stores, continues to prove it is more than just a store; It is a haven for women entrepreneurs to thrive in the beauty industry.
According to a press release from the company, "Sally Beauty was the first national beauty retailer to provide distribution to popular female-owned hair care brands including Made Beautiful, Mielle Organics, The Mane Choice and Arctic Fox, [etc.]" and they want to help one lucky female-owned hair care brand expand their business.

On June 18th, Sally Beauty announced their launch of a new program titled Sally Beauty Cultivate – For Women by Women. Defined as a "business accelerator program," this will help female entrepreneurs grow their beauty business and earn the backing of the major retailer/distributor or professional beauty supplies.
"We are thrilled to launch the Sally Beauty Cultivate program," said Carrie McDermott, President of Sally Beauty. "We continue to be inspired by all of the terrific women entrepreneurs we have met over the years and believe in supporting women who are developing products to make her best accessory, her hair, even better."

At this time, applications for the program are being accepted by Sally Beauty and the top brand selected will receive: "$25,000 in financial support, product distribution at SallyBeauty.com, and mentorship from the Sally Beauty team as well as some of their brand’s famous business owners. They will also receive the opportunity to get their product directly into the hands of high demand beauty influencers at one of Sally Beauty’s monthly influencer events."
