With the veil so thin, the spooky fall season is optimal for tapping into your power. Here are six easy ways to deepen and strengthen your intuition this Scorpio season.

Meditate

When you gain control over your thoughts, they’ll be far less distracting when trying to discern the distinction between fear and your intuitive voice. Meditation gives you the ability to observe your thoughts rather than be distracted by them. By doing so, you can instead be guided by your intuition. While fear shows up as anxious thoughts, intuition shows up as a grounded knowing.  

Play Games

Exercise strengthens muscles and games strengthen intuition. Try to guess a song that will come on shuffle or who sent you a text the next time you hear your phone buzz. Drive yourself somewhere new and see if you can find your way home without using GPS. These small playful acts do wonders in getting you familiar with how to trust your intuition. They’re also a lot of fun and can be played with friends.

Dream Journal

Your dreams deliver countless intuitive messages, so long as you’re paying attention. If you find that you don’t tend to remember your dreams upon waking, then a dream journaling practice will help you retain your subconscious messaging. Try to write down your dreams the minute you wake up and take notice of any themes or totems that may mean something more. 

Trust Your First Instinct

This may seem like an obvious one, but many women struggle with trusting their initial instincts. Even if their gut tells them that something or someone is off, they can override it by giving the benefit of the doubt. You may immediately feel a ping to say no to an event, to talk to a person you see at a coffee shop or not to creatively collaborate with someone. Next time you’re faced with a choice, practice responding with your first instinct. Take notice of how often you’re actually right.

Breathwork

A breathwork practice will help clear out any energy that doesn’t serve you. It will also calm down your nervous system. With a clear energetic conscience, you’ll be better able to connect with your intuition. There are plenty of easy breathwork routines, including three-part breath and breath of fire. Practicing breathwork can make space for more quiet and intuitive guidance.

Connect with Your Body

The more you’re aware of your body, the easier it’ll be to tell if you’re in survival mode or in an intuitive flow state. Take time to connect more with your body through deep massages and slow practices, like yoga. This is crucial for getting to know what your vessel feels like when it’s in a grounded state.
