Carrying a child for 9 months is a labor of love but labor nonetheless. Serena Williams knows that firsthand. That’s why decided to take a babymoon with her family to celebrate the arrival of their new bundle of joy!
Williams shared photos on Instagram of her family spending time out of the country. She was joined by her husband Alexis Ohanian, and their daughter Olympia who is seen in the photo striking a fierce pose.
“When your kid can’t stop posing,” Williams wrote in the caption.
Other close members of the family also joined the trio on the trip.

Where Did Serena Williams Go For Her Babymoon?
The latest photos are just an extension of the Babymoon Williams and Ohanian have been on for two weeks now. The family has been taking in sites all over Italy, including Florence and Bologna.
At the top of June, Ohanian shared an image from the trip to give followers a peak at what the two have been up to.
“OOO: Took the fam on Babymoon 2 📸 She asked for a selfie so I took advantage of the mirror,” he captioned the post on Instagram.
Just a few days later, he posted a carousel of the couple and their daughter in the Uffizi Gallery for a private after-hours tour. He captioned the post, “She said she wanted to see some art, so…”
Babymoon Attire
So far on her babymoon, the tennis star has been rocking figure flattering, comfy attire. In one post, Williams wears a purple bodycon dress that shows off her growing bump. She paired the dress with platform, hot pink Crocs.
“A night out in Bologna with some comfortable shoes,” she captioned.
In an image with her family, Williams is seen wearing a sleek black tank and leggings with comfortable sneakers.
Williams and Ohanian announced their second pregnancy on the night of the Met Gala. After posing for pictures on the red carpet while holding her belly, Williams took to social media to solidify the announcement.
“Was so excited when Anna Wintour invited the 3 of us to the Met Gala,” she said in confirmation.
