Every Halloween, some parents always seem to find a way to put the most non-traditional costumes on their children. This year, many people thought they were in the clear after finding out that there are kids dressed as Jeffrey Dahmer. Unfortunately however, it didn’t stop there.

The latest questionable costume is one that mimics the healing process of a very adult procedure. The Brazilian Butt Lift is a surgical procedure that many women undergo daily and some even die from. It is a very controversial procedure that hasΒ been the central topic of debates for decades now.
One mother dressed her daughter up as a BBL recipient for this year’s Halloween festivities. The costume included bandages, an IV drip, butt pads and a faja. Although she may have done this innocently, the mother has received lots of backlash from social media users over her choice.
What happened to just taking your child to party city or spirit Halloween and getting them the costume they were most excited about?

Many users seemed to be fed up with parents who want to “flex” for Instagram rather than listening to what their children want to dress up as. The understanding is that this seems to make the holiday less enjoyable and less memorable for the children who are partaking.

Some people found the costume to be a hilarious light heard joke while others found it very disgusting. This definitely wont be the end of debatable children’s costumes, but we’re hoping that we can at least rest until next Halloween.
