Euphoria star Zendaya is recounting the “infinite beauty” of her co-star, 25-year-old Angus Cloud, following his death. In an Instagram post, the actress shared her thoughts and memories of Cloud following his death.
“I know people use this expression often when talking about folks they love…“they could light up any room they entered” but boy let me tell you, he was the best at it. I’d like to remember him that way. For all of the boundless light, love and joy he always managed to give us. I’ll cherish every moment,” Zendaya wrote.
Influencer Offers Support
In response to Cloud’s passing, plus-size influencer Stella Williams opened her direct messages for any of her followers experiencing depression, loneliness, or a bad mental health day.
“i mean this on my MOMMA. idc even if you hate me, i love you. this world NEEDS you and you’re not alone,” Williams captioned the post.
Cloud’s death came as a shock to many including Williams. Although his family didn’t reveal the cause of his death, TMZ reported that the 911 call stated he suffered from a “possible overdose.” A source also shared with them that Cloud battled “severe suicidal thoughts” after burying his father.
Williams reiterated the sentiments of he Instagram post in her stories.
She encouraged her followers to reach out if they find themselves in need of support. She also reminded viewers that “everyone is fighting a battle,” and to practice being kind.
Cloud was a beloved actor known for his authentic and raw performance in the HBO hit series “Euphoria.” His family confirmed to PEOPLE that he passed away at his family home in Oakland.
“It is with the heaviest heart that we had to say goodbye to an incredible human today,” Cloud’s family said in a statement. “As an artist, a friend, a brother, and a son, Angus was special to all of us in so many ways.”
He and his family recently buried his father, and the actor was struggling with the loss. In addition, the actor was always transparent about addiction and his battle with his mental health. Despite hesitating to take on the character, Fezco, initially, he used his platform to spotlight mental health and addiction.
