Actress Storm Reid is giving fans a look at her CT302 signature sneakers in partnership with New Balance. Reid posted the partnership on her Instagram account. In a series of pictures the “Euphoria” actor posed behind a skyline in the new sneakers.

The inspiration behind the campaign was drawn from parts of Reid’s home city of Atlanta in the early 2000s, celebrating its cultural significance and her personal coming-of-age journey in the city. The 302 combines upper U’Lays and suede O’lays with a custom tongue label and lace aglets to create a one-of-a-kind shoe. Although Reid has been a New Balance ambassador since late 2021, this new collaboration marks her first with the company. The collaboration between New Balance and Reid extends beyond footwear, and further amplifies her influential voice within the industry.

“My first collaboration with New Balance is not only exciting but incredibly meaningful,” Reid explained.” This campaign is reminiscent of my childhood growing up in Atlanta,” she says. “I am so grateful to the team at New Balance for their collaboration every step of the way in designing this shoe together and for being on board to create a campaign that is representative of my roots and the culture of my hometown.”

Reid has secured several other collaborations in the past, most notably a collection with Pacsun in partnership with her own brand, ArshiBlu in March.

Juggling School and Work

In between bagging partnership deals, the actor is currently a student at the University of California’s drama school and continues to star in several big-budget productions. Those include “Euphoria” alongside Zendaya and “This Is Us” starring Pedro Pascal. She also recently played alongside Nia Long in the thriller, “Missing.”

In an interview with PEOPLE, Reid shared that she enjoys and prefers keeping a low profile in college.

“I get to experience things that people will never get to experience in their lifetime, which I’m cognizant of and I’m very grateful for. But I do want to go to the football games, I do want to go to the parties, I do want to just go hang out with my friends and walk around campus at 3:00 AM sometimes,” she said.

The New Balance collection will be available in North America only on August 4.
