SZA isn’t done. After wrapping up what fans thought was the final show on her S.O.S Tour, the Grammy-winning songstress has announced she will be adding more dates. The additional shows will start this summer.

The singer will first head to Europe starting in June with stops including Amsterdam, Paris and Berlin. For the European leg, SZA will be accompanied by British singer, Raye. Then, the singer will return to North America for another 23 shows starting Sept., 20 in Miami and ending in Phoenix Oct., 29. The extended North American leg will also feature artist, Omar Apollo. The presale for the second leg of the tour begins April 13. Public sales begin April 14.

The Recent Successes of S.O.S

SZA hit the jackpot with her “SOS” album. The project was her first No. 1 album after its release in December. It had one of the biggest debut streaming weeks of any album in 2022. The singer’s sophomore album stayed at the top of the charts for 10 consecutive weeks. Thus making it the first record by a woman to do so in seven years, following Adele’s 25. Additionally, “S.O.S” received its double platinum certification by the Recording Industry Association of America.

The news of the extended tour comes after the singer’s hit “Kill Bill” broke Billboard records. The single broke the record for the most weeks at number 1 by a lead female artist. It is currently on its 16th week on top, passing Mary J. Blige’s “Be Without You,” which captured 15.

The album has also broken records once held by acts such as Whitney Houston, Janet Jackson and Mariah Carey. Meanwhile, SZA’s debut album, CTRL, is still taking up space on the Billboard 200.

The first leg of the SOS Tour grossed an estimated $34.5 million. Each of its 17 stops were sold out.
