Marsai Martin has been getting to the bag lately. Mary J. Blige’s, Strength of a Woman Summit recently announced the young actress as its host. She’s also a brand ambassador for Carol’s Daughter. Now, the young mogul is adding another title to her name. Martin is the first-ever partner producer and global brand ambassador for skincare company, Clinique.

The brand chose Martin due to her unwavering ability to turn the entertainment industry on its head. Clinique has been a household brand since 1968. The company is now looking to engage a new generation and Marsai Martin is the best person to help them do just that.

With such an extensive list of accolades at only 18 years old, the choice to make Martin the newest brand ambassador was self-explanatory. She has received multiple NAACP and BET awards. Additionally, when she founded Genius Entertainment, she became the youngest Hollywood executive producer. Through the company, she spearheaded several high-profile projects across film, television, digital, and live activations. These feats all attributed to Clinique’s decision to bring Martin on board.

In a statement, Michelle Freyre, President, Global Brands, Clinique and Origins said Clinique is blown away by all that Martin has accomplished at such a young age.

“We are thrilled to welcome Marsai as a Clinique Brand Ambassador and first-ever Partner Producer. Her confidence and creative intellect truly embody Clinique’s brand values, Freyre said. “[We] look forward to collaborating with her to incorporate her vision of modern beauty and culture into Clinique storytelling.”

Marsai Martin’s Role

Liz Nolan, Clinique SVP Global Creative Director, says that just being a brand ambassador was not enough for this creative powerhouse.

‘”We decided to expand Marsai’s role beyond a Brand Ambassador to share her authentic and fresh perspective in all elements of the creative process. Clinique looks forward to partnering with her to strengthen the brand’s engagement with GenZ for skincare and makeup. Her optimistic personality combined with her strong engagement make her a perfect fit for our
brand,” Nolan stated.

Martin will produce her first campaign with Clinique. It will feature her favorite skincare and makeup products from the brand. Fans can expect the debut this summer on both Martin and Clinique’s social media channels.
