The labia majora is injected with unwanted fat from another area of the body. Unlike a BBL, the labia majora does not need much fat in order for its appearance to change. This procedure leaves the tissue of the labia majora looking smoother and fuller. Those who have a very deflated anatomy may require more than one fat transfer session.

It is important to note that labia augmentation with fat transfer is not recommended for those who are seeking treatment for low sex drive or anorgasmia.

Risks And Recovery

Since this procedure is minimally evasive. There aren’t many risks. There are only a few things you have to consider. Some side effects include redness, bruising, swelling, lumps/bumps, asymmetry, infection, numbness, and blood clots.

The recovery time is also not terrible as well. There is typically about one week of recovery time following labia majora fat grafting. Swelling and bruising can resolve within this time. It is suggested to consistently use cool compresses to aid with recovery. Most patients return to work within a few days. The only downside is that patients are advised to avoid sexual activity and strenuous exercise for about six weeks.
