Powerhouse beauty brand, NARS, has just announced that Naomi Campbell will be the face of the brand for its 2019 spring campaigns.

NARS is the only brand Campbell has put her face to, and this will be her third time returning to represent the brand, founded by her friend, François Nars, who also photographed her for the campaign.

“Naomi is a living icon and brings such strong personality to the camera,” said NARS to Harper’s Bazaar. “She and I are like family. I have known her since the very beginning of her career. From the start, I have admired her, her beauty, and her style.”

To date, NARS has released two promotional photos for its Radiance Repowered range collection, which includes foundation shade extensions, a "Skin Deep Eye Palette" and the "Super Radiant Booster", all coming out in January of 2019.

François Nars mentioned that it was incredibly important to feature a woman of color as the face of this year’s campaign.

“I didn’t want to create a makeup line for one ethnic group. It had to be multi-ethnic. To me, beauty is beauty. It doesn’t matter what color the skin is," he expressed to InStyle.

Some of Campbell’s personal NARS favorites are Mountain Soft Velvet Pressed Powder, Sophia Eyeshadow, and the Highlighting Powders, she shared in a release.
