Girls Trip co-writer and The First Wives Club creator Tracy Oliver has just landed a major overall deal with Apple. According to Deadline, the creator reportedly secured the multi-year agreement in the eight-figure range to develop and produce diverse and meaningful TV & film projects with an underlying mission to tell diverse stories via her company, Tracy Yvonne Productions.

Oliver's production company was created to help advocate for "authentic, impactful, and inspirational storytelling across mediums and genres, by amplifying unique voices, and improving inclusiveness within the industry," the outlet reported. She's now the latest big-name creator to land an overall or first-look deal with the tech giant and joins the ranks of people like Oprah Winfrey, Idris Elba, and many others.

Most recently, Oliver, who previously had a first-look film and TV deal at Topic Studios, has spent the last few years busying herself in the entertainment industry, helming projects like Amazon's Harlem as well as Barbershop: The Next Cut and Marsai Martin's Little alongside Black-ish creator Kenya Barris.

Oliver made a huge splash with her blockbuster comedy Girls Trip, which made her the first Black woman to write a $100 million-grossing film.

She also found herself working on Issa Rae's The Mis-Adventures of Awkward Black Girl YouTube series – which later served as the inspiration behind HBO's Insecure – as well as ABC's The Neighbors and Starz's Survivor's Remorse. Congrats, Queen! We love to see it.
