Tami Roman is one of the most recent celebrities to take to social media to share the news of her recent hair transformation. The former Basketball Wives LA star and “Bonnet Chronicles” host recently took to her Instagram page to unpack the process of getting her hair cut off with hairstylist @khilbil. Playing in the background of the Instagram video is India Arie’s 2006 hit song “I am Not My Hair.”
In the video, Roman says: “So I done linked up with Khil Bill over here because we’re gonna take this down and, you know, start anew, start fresh.”
Roman shared in the video that she is about to be 52 years old, wanted her fans to know that she is ready to start afresh on a new hair journey, and has actively taken steps to do so.
“I’m tired of these dead ends, so we just gonna start new and fresh,” she said as Khil Bil used his clippers to cut her hair.
So far, Roman’s announcement has garnered a lot of support from her fans, who mostly seem to have nothing but praise about Roman’s new look, and while this is not the first time she is opting to trim off her tresses, fans definitely seem to be here for it.
Back in 2019, Roman also chopped it all off after she opted to transition from black hair to blond hair, which caused her to lose “a lot” of her hair. At the time, she did not particularly seem too upset about it, as she noted, “It’s just hair.”
At the time, although she rocked a wide array of wigs, and still does, Roman still managed to surprise her fans when she shared her decision to cut her hair by ultimately transitioning and opting for a natural hair journey. We would love to see what styles she will pull off in the near future.
