Have you ever walked into your local health food restaurant looking for a delicious green juice and walked right out after checking the price tag? It's no secret that eating healthy often means adjusting your budget — or not eating healthy at all if your income doesn't allow it to be sustainable. Francesca "Sol" Chaney is a 21-year-old who found she felt healthier through switching to a plant-based diet. Now she's opened Sol Sips, a new vegan restaurant that boasts affordable prices on a range of vegan meals.

Whether you want a juice, a vegan omelet, wraps or soup, Sol Sips has what you need. And on the weekends, you can pick up brunch for anywhere between $7 and $15. The price points of her items are important to Chaney because they can be barriers to access for many communities.

"The wellness community can be really classist," she said in an interview with Essence. "My mission to help close the accessibility gap in wellness."
