Tia Mowry is a walking testament that life can continue no matter what happens. She is sharing some wisdom with her followers on social media and about starting over.
Mowry took to Instagram to let her followers know that it’s okay to reinvent yourself. In the short video, Mowry is seen wearing a camouflage two-piece set with a beautiful short haircut. The words on the screen read “It’s not too late to start over!!! Even in your 40’s,” and she absolutely meant that. She then proceeded to show fans some dance moves, embodying that carefree spirit she often wears on her sleeve.
In the caption Mowry gave some advice to women who may be questioning the choices they have made in their lives.
“The fear of getting older and starting over with your career or a relationship is so common, but I am here to tell you that there is no need for that,” she explained. “You hear so many stories of people who reinvent themselves later in life or get their big break in their 40’s, and yet we still have this visceral reaction to growing older. I believe that it is due to feeling like the pages in your book are coming to an end; however, each year is just a new chapter and adventure for you to embark on. Just know you can keep reinventing yourself ‘til you are the best version of yourself!”
Tia Mowry’s Transitional Period
Tia’s message comes after she and ex-husband, Corey Hardict have finalized the intricacies of their divorce. In documents obtained by People Magazine, the two broke down what it will look like for either party to bring new romantic partners around their children.
“Absent agreement to the contrary, each party is restrained from introducing the minor children to a new romantic partner until that party has been in an exclusive relationship with the romantic partner for at least six months,” the documents read. “Each party is further restrained from permitting his or her new romantic partner from spending overnights when the minor children are with that custodial parent during the first six months of the exclusive relationship.”
The two have also agreed to share legal and physical custody of both of their children. Mowry announced their divorce last October. After 14 years of marriage, the two have decided to go their separate ways.
