If your New Year's resolution is to ace your workout routine and get in better shape, then why not do it with Tiffany Haddish by your side? The comedian and actress has teamed up with Supernatural, a virtual reality fitness app that promises “to gamify your weekly exercise routine with an expansive library of cardio, boxing, meditation, and recovery workouts.”
The virtual reality fitness app is available exclusively on the Oculus Quest 2 VR headset, which is currently available for $299 at Target, Best Buy or Amazon. Users are given a 14-day free trial, and then can opt into a monthly subscription of $19 per month or yearly subscription of $180. So far, users have raved about the expansive, realistic VR environments, dynamic personal training, new workouts that are regularly added to the program, and its availability of over 800 classes to choose from – all filtered by type, difficulty level, music genre, and duration.
Ironically, Supernatural is the same platform that helped Tiffany take control of her fitness journey. In total, she has lost more than fifty pounds since the beginning of 2020. In a press release, Tiffany stated “I became addicted to Supernatural last year. I’ve never felt so powerful or had so much fun working out. I can travel the world from my living room, move to music I love and feel like a superhero every day.”
Tiffany’s partnership comes by way of Supernatural’s “This Year, Be You” campaign which launched on January 1st. The comedian is set to host four different workout sessions: boxing, Supernatural’s signature cardio course, guided meditation and a stretch session. And if there’s one thing that we can count on in these sessions, it’s that there’ll be an abundance of laughter. Tiffany also stated, “My mission in life is to spread joy and empower people and, as a Supernatural guest coach, I get to spread that goodness in a way that also gets people sweating and smiling as they get a great workout.”
