The life of a professional athlete can get pretty hectic at times, but the best of the best still manage to prioritize personal relationships off the court. While some NBA players prefer to live a bachelor lifestyle, 27-year-old Devin Booker has had his eye on one (very famous) woman since at least 2020 – Kendall Jenner. While their time together has elicited many cute couple photos going viral, the baller and model haven’t quite found their footing for the long term yet. As of September 2024, they’ve been going on dates again, but social media sleuths have linked Devin Booker to other women besides his ex this year.

At the recent Paris Olympics, Booker was proud to pose for a photo with Team USA Gymnastics icon Suni Lee. She competed at the 2021 Games in Tokyo before returning this year, and her fellow athlete recognized her gold medal skills by acknowledging her with a goat emoji on Instagram. When Lee reported the same picture on her profile, chatter about a potential new romance began, however, many believe the interaction was a platonic display of support between two champions.

As AZ Central reports, Devin Booker was linked to influencer/model Christina Nadin in February of this year, as she appeared to post a photo taken in his bathroom. There’s been no confirmation of a serious flirtation between these two, but since he’s officially single, it’s possible the Phoenix Suns point guard could be playing the field.

NBA Player and Kendall Jenner Have Been On-Again-Off-Again for Years

The most serious connection in Booker’s adult life has been with Jenner, who he began spending time with back in 2020. As gossip about the couple started to fly, she famously tweeted, “They act like I’m not in full control of where I throw this cooch.” For months on end the lovers couldn’t get enough of each other. making things IG official on Valentine’s Day in 2021. Little more than a year later they were plagued by breakup rumors which were ultimately confirmed by People in November 2022.

During One of the Couple’s Breaks, Bad Bunny Dissed Devin Booker

While Devin Booker poured his focus into the NBA, Jenner turned her attention to a new flame – Latin lyricist Bad Bunny. In March 2023, the latter appeared on Eladio Carrión’s “Coco Chanel” track, using his verse to throw shade at the model’s ex in Spanish. “I’m not bad, baby, that’s a gimmick / But the Puerto Rico sun is warmer than the one in Phoenix / She knows it,” his lyrics read when translated. Though clever, Jenner reportedly wasn’t a fan of the diss, and Booker certainly wasn’t convinced that his ex had found someone worth settling down with.

“Devin doesn’t believe for one minute that Kendall and Bad Bunny’s relationship is that serious,” a source told Us Weekly. “He doesn’t think he’s her type and finds it difficult to believe there’s any longevity there between them.” The Michigan native was at least partially correct, as he and Jenner wound up reconnecting in early 2024 after she ended things with the “I Like It” artist. They were photographed in the same Super Bowl VIP suite with other celebrities around the same time TMZ reported the exes were “rekindling their relationship” but “taking things slow.”

Interestingly, Jenner seems somewhat torn between Benito and Booker these days. In the early summer, she and the former were going on dates in Puerto Rico and Paris. However, by September, the California-born beauty and the latter stepped out for dinner together at The Surf Club in Miami, suggesting we could see them spin the block yet again.

Part of What Kept Their Romance So Lowkey Is the Model’s Strict Boundaries

Though she’s one of the most recognizable socialites in the world, Jenner maintains strict boundaries around her personal life and bond with Devin Booker. “Kendall’s always had this rule—she just felt like she had to be with someone for at least a year before she lets them be a part of the show, because she doesn’t always know what people’s intentions are,” KUWTK executive producer Farnaz Farjam told The Daily Dish podcast in 2021.

Speaking for herself around the same time, Jenner said, “No offense to my older sisters at all, but I think that Kylie [Jenner] and I specifically have had the opportunity to watch our older sisters go through marriages and relationships and breakups and do them pretty publicly. It was a personal preference from a really young age.” She explained that keeping things private makes life “a lot easier” and enhances the quality of her relationships. “I just feel like it’s a private matter and not for anybody else to judge or know,” Jenner declared.
