Now Kane has shared that she will be moving on to work on expanding her new wellness startup My Happy Flo.  Founded in 2021, the wellness brand currently offers natural supplements to help women of color deal with period pains, PMS, heavy bleeding, and other forms of menstrual discomfort.

“I’m still serving the same audience that I have for years but in a new way,” says Kane in a statement. “Our community has a unique set of needs that include Vitamin D3 and Iron deficiency but are often underserved and overlooked in the vitamin and supplement space. I am passionate about helping women of color who are struggling with heavy periods and fibroid symptoms and missing out on life because of it. The statistics regarding black women and fibroids are alarming and we wanted to help do something about this silent epidemic.”

The departure of Kane was something years in the making as the brand was acquired by Hollywood producer Will Packer Media acquired the brand in 2017.  Kane had since been working over the last several years to make sure xoNecole could continue to grow without her at the helm.

In the year since the launch of My Happy Flo, Kane has been able to obtain $50,000 in grants and has scaled the initial growth of the brand with little investment in the advertisement.

Kane shared in a statement that she plans to expand the brand to have products that aid in sleep, energy, and digestive health.
