Who says short hair is just a summer thing? Not us! As you swap your sandals for heels, it may also be a fun idea to swap your long hair for a chic, short cut. If you’re still unsure of which way to go with your haircut, we’ve got inspo that ranges from buzz cuts to longer, blunt bob haircuts. So take off some time from your morning routine by switching your style up.

Buzz Cuts:

If you’ve been waiting for some inspiration to do a "big chop," consider this as your sign. It may be scary at first, especially if this is your first time taking clippers to your hair, but it will up your slay level to 150. Channel your inner Sanaa Lathan or Amandla Stenberg this fall with a freshly, shaved head.

Pixie Cuts:

Pixie cuts give you the option to be as versatile as you please. Styling your pixie cut with glamorous pin curls, like Ruth Negga, is an option but so is keeping it choppy, like Winnie Harlow, will also give you a classic look.

Layers and tapers:

If you’re keeping your hair natural but want to cut it down, getting a tapered cut trims your hair down towards the back and keeps your length towards the front — a look that’s been seen on runways recently. Another option is to layer your curls for a heart-shaped look.

Bobs and Lobs:

We’ve seen them on Rihanna, Zoe Saldana, Zendaya and Queen Bey and they never fail. If you’re ready for a cut but don’t want to commit to something too short, getting a blunt bob can amp up your look for fall. If you’re keeping your curls through the fall and winter, opt for a geometric cut like Yara Shahidi opted for the MTV Movie Awards.
