I guess you can say that I am a little obsessed with smoothies. But that doesn't mean that I don’t fall into a rut sometimes. Making fresh smoothies every day is time-consuming and time isn't always a luxury I have first thing in the morning. Fortunately, I have found some lifestyle hacks to make my smoothies ahead of time. That way, I can enjoy my delicious creation without all the extra hassle. Since we should all be about saving time and money, here are five ways to whip up a make-ahead smoothie. Which one suits you best?

PREP THE NIGHT BEFORE

Between work meetings and social time, we can't always be masters of efficiency. Sometimes just getting out of bed and making it work on time is victory enough. But you can still make mornings easier by prepping the night before. Put the chopped ingredients in the blender before you go to bed, and press “play” in the morning. I like using my Ninja cups to blend and go.

BATCH and FREEZE

This has become one of my favorite methods because I can blend up a big batch on Sunday and fill up several jaws that can be unthawed throughout the week. The larger the quantity, the better sis! This is also a good option if your freezer space is limited. You will pour your finished smoothie into a regular kitchen cup once it's blended.

Create FREEZER PACKS

Believe it or not, you can have some variety, it just takes a little planning. All you have to do is purchase, chop, and store ahead of time and you’ll have a whole lot of smoothies to choose from. Build your smoothie pack with your different fruits, veggies, and fillers in separate baggies so that they are easily accessible and ready to blend first thing in the A.M.

Create SMOOTHIE ICE CUBES

Now, I know this seems like an odd choice, but hear me out. Utilizing this method cuts out so much work you will wonder why you hadn't thought of it sooner. Make these whenever you have time and freeze them in an ice cube tray. Take them out overnight to thaw or while you are on the way to work and whoah.. Bam! Your breakfast is ready, just in time for your commute.

Make SMOOTHIE POPS

Yes, fruit smoothies are precise as they sound. These fruit popsicles are in essence, frozen fruit smoothies. Mostly, they are made with simple ingredients, the main one naturally being fruit, and other staples like Greek yogurt or juice. They make a delicious breakfast, snack, or healthy dessert! Why haven't you tried these yet?
