Forbes has released its latest list of the 15 richest women celebrities. To no one’s surprise, Black women celebrities like Oprah Winfrey and Rihanna are in the roundup of stars racking up some major cash.

Topping the list is Winfrey with a net worth of $2.5 billion. It was noted by Forbes that Winfrey recently reportedly purchased close to 900 acres of land in Maui, Hawaii. She is also ramping up for the December 25 release of the The Color Purple movie musical she is producing.

Following Oprah on the list is Rihanna at No. 2. The beauty mogul and singer’s net worth is set at $1.4 billion. This includes her Fenty Beauty empire, Savage X Fenty line of lingerie, and all of her music-related endeavors. But it is her Fenty Beauty makeup line that commands the largest bulk of her net worth.

Beyoncé also made the list, with a net worth of $540 million. This is an increase of $90 million dollars from her net worth in 2022. Beyoncé just kicked off her Renaissance World Tour, which is currently projected to possibly break the record for the highest grossing concert tour of all-time.

Serena Wiliams had a place on the list with a net worth of $290 million. The tennis champ announced her retirement back in August. But she has been staying busy with a host of other projects, including her upcoming documentary series on ESPN.

Closing out the list of richest women celebs is Shonda Rhimes, who is ranking on the list for the first time ever. Rhimes’ net worth is set at $250 million. The TV mogul has seen major success with numerous hit TV shows — including her breakout series Bridgerton and its new Queen Charlotte spinoff.

Social media was buzzing after the list was revealed, with people taking to their accounts to hype up the success of these Black women superstars. Many added that seeing so many self-made Black women on the list was quite the inspiration.
