Beyoncé is coming straight out of the stable with the continuation of her “Cowboy Carter” tour. The multi-hyphenate’s tour recently earned the highest-grossing single-venue engagement by a female artist in Billboard Boxscore history.

Additionally, adding to Beyoncé’s historic tour numbers are her stunning Western-themed ensembles. As the most-decorated winner in Grammy award history, the singer is no stranger to custom, memorable tour outfits. Now, Beyoncé’s mother Tina Knowles is giving her Instagram followers a sneak peak into the production of “Cowboy Carter” tour outfits.

A Closer Look at Beyoncé’s Outfits

Tina Knowles posted a lengthy Instagram caption detailing the people behind-the-scenes of Beyoncé’s viral “Cowboy Carter” looks. The fashion mastermind leading the star’s outfits is head stylist Shiona Turini with additional assistance from stylist Karen Langley. According to her social media post, these two women stylists have curated a whopping 600 costumes for Beyoncé alone.

Both Turini and Langley styled Beyoncé for her “Renaissance” world tour in 2023. Specifically, Turini, who’s also a costume designer and consultant, styled Beyoncé for the London premiere of her “Renaissance World Tour Film” in 2023.

“I’m still processing the past 10 months – it’s so hard to put this entire experience into words, and it feels surreal watching it all unfold again on the big screen. I have never met a harder working woman both on and off stage. Leading and directing down to the last detail. An auteur, a visionary, a mother. A Virgo. All while serving in custom chainmail,” part of Turini’s caption read on Instagram.

So far throughout the “Cowboy Carter” tour, Beyoncé has worn custom outfits from high-profile designers including Dolce & Gabbana, Coperni, Loewe, Mugler, Burberry, Roberto Cavalli, and Diesel, to name a few.

The “Cowboy Carter” Tour Dancers Looks

Knowles is also sharing details on the dancers and crew members looks. All have equally stunning “Cowboy Carter” styling. Fans and onlookers might be surprised to learn that around six stylists dress the dancers alone. It’s clear that there’s so much attention to detail that goes into the fashion regarding the “Cowboy Carter” tour. Specifically, Beyoncé’s 13-year-old daughter Blue Ivy Carter is part of the dancers for this tour. She showcases her head-turning looks at each stop.

“Many millions are put into wardrobe to make it a moment in fashion history and I can’t even begin to explain how many sleepless nights, how much beyond hard work is put into making this the best it can be,” more of Tina Knowles’s caption read.

A Moment for the Accessories

Think the “Cowboy Carter” fashion stops at clothes? You’re mistaken. Knowles also shared that just as much dedication goes into the accessories, from cowboy hats to spurs.

“Countless talented couture designers making the most magical incredible costumes! Countless brands making hundreds of belts, buckles, boots, shoes,  jewelry, chaps, spurs, bolos, Rodeo crowns, coats!” Beyoncé’s mother continued in her IG post.

When it comes to rodeo-inspired fashion, the ensembles all come together through the accessories. Heading to the “Cowboy Carter” tour? The accessories you choose will make or break your outfit, serving as the perfect finishing touches.

Tina Knowles’s Role in It All

Ultimately, the “Cowboy Carter” tour is a community effort, headed by a hardworking Beyoncé. Blue Ivy dances on stage, her younger sister Rumi occasionally joins her, and Beyoncé’s mother helps approve the fashion budgets.

“I have the unglamorous job of approving budgets and when I tell you no expense is spared I mean it,” Knowles wrote. “Just want to give you a clue or a little peek into what it takes for wardrobe.”

Even at 71-years-old, Knowles is continuing her involvement with her daughter’s business. In the 90’s, the seasoned socialite spent years styling Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland, and Michelle Williams as the group Destiny’s Child.
