Latto first exploded onto the hip hop scene after winning the very first season of the hit television series The Rap Game, though her roots in music go all the way back to her early childhood. Given her extensive passion for the genre, it should come as no surprise that the 25-year-old femcee has established such a powerful name for herself in rap today. The Grammy-nominated rapper currently holds a net worth of $2 million, with her musical talent and many business ventures sure to secure additional millions in the coming years.

While $2 million may not seem like a staggering amount for many hip hop heads, who are used to hearing legacy artists such as Jay-Z and Dr. Dre bragging about their multi-billion profits, Latto has managed to accumulate this wealth at the young age of 25, placing her in the top percentile of success within her niche. Here’s a look into how Latto leveraged her passion for music and art into a multi-million dollar brand.

Latto Has Millions Of Monthly Streams

Though music streaming platforms are notorious for underpaying artists, Latto’s incredible breadth of listeners is not to be ignored when factoring her wealth. The young rapper maintains over 23 million monthly listeners on Spotify alone, despite the fact that she hasn’t released an album in nearly 2 full years. In fact, save for a handful of featured appearances on other artists’ songs, Latto’s only new music released since 2022’s 777 is her recent single “Sunday Service” which launched on streaming platforms this past Valentine’s Day.

While 23 million listeners is certainly impressive, this number likely won’t hold a candle to the number of streamers who will be tuning in for her next full-length effort. In addition to music streams, Latto has been on multiple tours across the country, performing live to massive audiences. The XXL Freshman rapper has even performed live for major events such as the BET Music Awards.

Latto Has Multiple Business Ventures

While most of her wealth likely comes from her prolific career behind the mic, Latto has shown through her business ventures that she has other passions besides hip hop. In 2017 she launched a fashion brand called Pittstop Clothing. Pittstop maintains a brick and mortar storefront in Jonesboro, Georgia where exclusive products and designs are sold, even as Latto jet-sets across the country to tour her for her ever-growing fanbase.

The “Sunday Service” vocalist also launched a nonprofit in 2021 titled Win Some Give Some, which provides young people, including teenage mothers, with Christmas gifts, financial support, and toys for their young ones. The nonprofit was formed in collaboration with Rainbow House, and follows a number of one-off charitable drives Latto has participated in during previous holiday seasons.

Future Ventures

If her last several years in the industry are any indication of her future, it seems obvious that Latto’s star will only continue to rise. With new music around the corner, and countless business ventures ripe for partnering with her excellent financial acumen, Latto will surely be raising her $2 million net worth in the near future. Latto was listed on the Forbes 30 Under 30 list for music in 2024, proving that the hard work the chart-topping rapper has been putting in is truly paying off.
