Pro-tennis star Naomi Osaka is basking in the newness of motherhood. The 25-year-old took to Instagram to share a carousel of pictures one of which featured her newborn baby. The picture, the first in the carousel, finds Osaka’s newborn in a white romper adorned with stitching of tennis balls and tennis rackets.

“Well that was a cool little intermission, now back to your regularly scheduled program,” she wrote in the caption.

Other pictures in the carousel included a picture of her at the hospital and another of her standing with her baby bump amongst musical instruments.

We Have A Name

The news was revealed by Cordae himself during a performance at Canada’s Calgary Stampede shortly after the baby’s birth. A Return to The Court

Naomi Osaka took a break from tennis and social media in a bid to take care of her mental health. When she returned from her social media break, she shared a picture of a sonogram and a message in English and Japanese for fans on Instagram.

“Can’t wait to get back on the court but here’s a little life update for 2023,” her caption read. “I realize that life is so short and I don’t take any moments for granted, every day is a new blessing and adventure. I know that I have so much to look forward to in the future, one thing I’m looking forward to is for my kid to watch one of my matches and tell someone, ‘That’s my mom,’ haha.”

Osaka vowed to get back to tennis after welcoming her daughter, writing, “2023 will be a year that’ll be full of lessons for me and I hope I’ll see you guys in the start of the next one cause I’ll be at Aus 2024.”
