The Real Housewives of Atlanta used to be the girls to beat when it came to ratings for Bravo’s Real Housewives properties. They had the highest ratings, the most interesting storylines and delicious drama. But after 15 seasons, fans have decided that something is missing in the sauce. While OG cast members would argue that they need to return to the show to revive its vim and vigor, loyal fans have suggested that show go for an entire reboot and refresh — like the New York franchise did for the season 14. Not only could this work, it would reinvigorate fans of the franchise and attract a whole new set of viewers. But a rebooted cast would need to feature some truly interesting faces. Here are 21Ninety’s picks for the new “Real Housewives of Atlanta” cast.

Monica

Monica has appeared on “TI and Tiny: The Family Hustle”. At the time, she was in the midst of a divorce from her ex-husband Shannon Brown. These days, Monica is raising her kids and living what appears to be her best life. Audiences would love to see how the Goonica persona would show up in a reality tv show setting. Who knows if Monica is doing much dating these days, but it would be cool to see what type of man could attract her attention.

Toya Johnson-Rushing

Toya has done all types of reality TV. Viewers have watched her through several faces of her life — from the days when she was only known as Lil Wayne’s ex-wife to her drama-filled marriage to Memphitz. Now, she seems to be in a good place with her husband, Robert Rushing, and their daughter Reign. It could be great to watch her navigate mother hood as she raises an adult child and school-aged child at the same time. From the little she and her husband have shown of their relationship online, it seems light and healthy. That could be fun to watch. She’s also good friends with Monica. The duo could make for a good time.

Claudia Jordan

Claudia Jordan is not exactly a new face. She appeared on season 7 but her time on the show was short-lived. That doesn’t mean she didn’t leave an impression. Claudia has been called one of the most underrated Real Housewives of Atlanta. And no one can forget how she held her own with the Queen of RHOA, Ms. NeNe Leakes. Claudia is known for expressing her opinions, no matter the backlash. Fans would get a kick out of having her back.

Mckenzie Caldwell-Pope

McKenzie Caldwell-Pope is a beauty and fashion influencer, mother and wife to NBA player Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, of the Denver Nuggets. The couple have roots in Georgia as her husband played for Georgia State when he was in college. Caldwell-Pope previously made a brief appearance on the Real Housewives of Potomac franchise. The exposure she would gain as a member of the Atlanta cast could be a great vehicle for her to grow and expand her brand. She regularly updates her Youtube channel “Mckenzie in the Mirror” and hosts a show on Instagram called “Sip and Style.”

Pinky Cole

Restauranteur and all around business-woman Pinky Cole could take the place of Kandi Burruss on the show. Like Kandi, Pinky is all about her business and it would be interesting and inspirational to watch her manage all of it along with being a mother and new wife. When you have a lot going on outside of the show, it’s easier to keep the tv drama in perspective. She could easily be the voice of reason on the show, while still being engaging.

Ming Lee

Ming Lee is an entrepreneur and social media personality. In addition to her starting her own business, Snob Life, she has also been romantically linked to rapper Rick Ross. With her connection to the beauty and entertainment industry, she could be a great topic of interest on reality TV.
