Beyoncé is officially on tour and fans want a piece of the action. According to fashion site, Nasty Gal, Google search data revealed online queries related to the Renaissance tour have exploded. Terms like “metallic cowboy boots” skyrocketed 488 percent after the first night of the tour. Queen Bey rocked a wide range of metallic numbers on stage during the tour’s opening night in Stockholm. That included a silver bodysuit with cutouts. Google searches for “silver bodysuit” and “silver corset” have also risen 426 percent and 699 percent respectively.
It’s no surprise fans are clamoring to emulate Beyonce and her dancer’s looks. Clips from the first night immediately went viral. Fans reacted to Queen Bey’s mesmerizing vocals, show stopping visuals, sickening choreography, and custom designer fits.
Costumes included bedazzled catsuits and cyborg-inspired silhouettes. She posted in an Alexander McQueen piece which contained dazzling beadwork and structured shoulder pads. The Queen stunned concert goers when she performed “Pure/Honey.” She wore a black and yellow Mugler bodysuit. She also wore a reflective Courrèges bodysuit while performing “Alien Superstar.” Both of these outfits were paired with thigh-high boots.
The Renaissance Aesthetic
Based off the house and dance direction of the “Renaissance” album, fans expected the tour would include a disco-chic theme. Many planned their outfits accordingly for the first stop of the tour. Now, that the costuming has officially been released, it’s not too late to pull together your own Renaissance inspired look. Whether you’re planning to attend another stop on the tour or you’ll be grooving from the house, here are ways to look like the “queen” without breaking the bank.
Cowboy Hats To Rock
Show off your Southern style in this bedazzled, black cowboy hat. Silver crystals surround the silky hat. This statement-piece looks great with long braids or wavy tresses. Even though the tour is called “Renaissance,” this hat is giving “Lemonade.” This hat is available in black and the embellishments highlight its shape. A crystallized, black bodysuit would compliment this show-stopping hat. Either way, this statement piece will bring out your inner “Yonce.”
Nothing screams “Southern Belle” like a cream-colored cowboy hat decorated with pearls. The pearls are heart-shaped and add a feminine touch to the monochromatic headpiece. This hat definitely gives “Church Girl” for its soft but noticeable details. A pair of loose fitting pearls would pair great with this hat. Wear a cream-colored bodysuit and denim shorts for an edgy, streetwear look.
These boots are an Alien Superstar’s dream. The metallic and baby pink colorway is a perfect combination of futurism and charm. Partygoers may be jealous of these structured boots. The flame, embroidered details are definitely hot. These shoes are perfect for concert goers because of their mid-length, wedged heel. A short, denim jumpsuit would pair well with these. Accessories like beaded, drop earrings would make heads turn. These boots were definitely made for dancing to Beyonce’s latest hits.
Flirty In Fringe
Feel complete in this sassy skirt and halter set. The outfit is designed with beaded pearls and a tassel accent for a fun night out. The matching top is dreamy but seductive. This look pairs well with strappy heeled sandals, or black, embroidered thigh-high boots.
You may be in competition with the Queen Bey after arriving in this chrome, fringe ensemble. This party piece is gaudy, fierce, and boisterous. This set offers dazzling fringe detailing on the arms. Pair this set with white or black cowboy boots. Twirl for the girls in this fun set.
