Savannah James recently joined her family for a stunning family photo shoot for ‘Vanity Fair’ Magazine. Despite being relatively private, the James family gave people a sneak peek into their lives and how they manage fame, ambition and Black excellence.
The Interview
In a recent high-fashion profile interview, the James family opened up to “Vanity Fair” about their dynamic. The in-depth interview delved into the lives of the James family, both nuclear and extended, highlighting Lebron’s start and rise as one of the world’s most prominent sports figures, while also underscoring Savannah’s role in nurturing and supporting the family. The interview also gave readers insight into Lebron and Savannah’s long-term relationship. Images from the interview showed the family in finely-cut, high-end clothing pieces, that were all reminiscent of Black excellence and opulence.
A Dope Family
Savannah shared that the family had a unique, low-key dynamic that not many people could not naturally adjust to.
“Everything isn’t for everybody,” said Savannah, “Excuse my language, but we a dope family.” The duo — who share daughter Zhuri, 7, and sons Bryce, 15 and Bronny, 17, said that they try to support their kids and whatever interests that they would like to pursue.
Savannah also said that in spite of the family’s mega celebrity status, her children have adjusted well.
“With LeBron being their dad, it’s just automatic,” said Savannah. “It’s not something we’ve pushed or told them that they had to do, or anything like that. It just happened.”

High Fashion And Black Love
The layout of the interview was full of vibrant colors and high end designs, and Savannah’s diverse wardrobe consisted of a few Barbiecore-themed pieces as well as an ensemble of darker-toned pieces of clothing. The photoshoot was a celebration of Black love, Black families and Black excellence, and in an Instagram post, Savannah shared that she was blown away by how the family was represented in the ‘Vanity Fair’ photoshoot.

Shortly after images of the spread went viral, Savannah and Lebron also took to social media to celebrate their ninth wedding anniversary. The couple has been together for over two decades.
