The end of the year often brings us the excitement of the holidays, winter breaks and the beloved Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. The fashion show has made quite for some memorable performances and incredible wing crafts, but in the past, the show has lacked some serious color. This caused quite the controversy, according to DailyMail, when it was reported that Jourdan Dunn was replaced by two other models, which amplified her decision to not walk in the show anymore.

This year’s show finally confirmed their chosen models, one of which is Duckie Thot — an Australian Sudanese model who has auditioned for the show several times — and Winnie Harlow, who is Victoria’s Secret’s first model with vitiligo. Interestingly enough, Harlow received a lot of backlash due to an Instagram post in which she slammed Duckie’s natural hair, according to Nylon.

Despite the drama, Victoria’s Secret has done a better job with having models of color participate in this year’s show, seventeen of them to be exact. Keep scrolling to meet this year’s angels of color who will be walking the runway at this year’s Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show:
