Colored mascara needs no introduction. All you need to know is: It’s back in action! Colored mascara has been seen on the runways and on one our beloved queens, Rihanna. While it can be a little intimidating to sport some color on your lashes, there are subtle entry points like layering your favorite color over your favorite black mascara to add a tint. However, for those ready to dive into the trend head on, bright pink, purple and teal mascaras exist to don some vibrant lashes.
Rihanna’s makeup artist Priscilla Ono coated Rih’s lashes with a bright shade of pink for a Fenty x Puma even at Coachella this year. The mascara matched the softer pinks on her eyelids and lips. The colored mascara trend was seen on the runway with very natural makeup, allowing the colors to pop against the skin. There have also been some more daringly fierce looks which featured bright mascaras that matched the bold lip.
