The lineup for this year’s One Musicfest has finally been revealed and its packed with some amazing talent.
The two-day festival will be held on Saturday, October 28, and Sunday, October 29, at Piedmont Park in Atlanta, Georgia.
The legendary Janet Jackson and rapper Kendrick Lamar are co-headliners for this year’s festival.
They will be joined by acts like Megan Thee Stallion, Tems, Coco Jones, and more.
There will even be a special stage at the festival honoring the 50th anniversary of hip hop. Performers on that stage will include Trina, Yo-Yo, and Lady of Rage.
Tickets for the festival are already available for purchase and the full festival lineup has been released on the One Musicfest site.
“We are beyond excited about the 14th annual One Musicfest. To have the opportunity to host Kendrick Lamar, Janet Jackson, Megan Thee Stallion, Brent Faiyaz, and other iconic artists in the middle of Piedmont Park is a dream come true, especially on the 50th anniversary of hip hop,” said J. Carter, founder of One Musicfest, in a statement.
Jackson is coming off her highly successful Together Again tour, which saw her traveling across the nation from April through June.
The music legend is taking an extended break from the tour before attending the show’s current final date on October 27 in Lincoln, California.
However, many fans are wondering if the Lincoln date is a hint that the singer may be extending the show into a second national or even international leg. Her headlining spot at One Musicfest is adding to that speculation.
The Together Again tour has earned $51M from 479K tickets since it kicked off in April — breaking all of Jackson’s past touring records.
