Rihanna is a musical legend, a certified billionaire, and a pop culture icon in every way.

And now, she’s expecting a baby — which has made everyone (including her most die-hard fans) happy.

There are simply not enough words to describe how much we, as a collective of womanhood, love our “Rih-Rih.” She strong, funny, empowered, and — most of all, though not most importantly of all — beautiful both inside and out.

And in her recent interview with Vogue, she explained how she plans on using her latest announcement (that’s the baby, of course) to change how society views women — and pregnant women, in particular.

“I’m hoping that we were able to redefine what’s considered ‘decent’ for pregnant women,” Rihanna said to the revered fashion outlet. “My body is doing incredible things right now, and I’m not going to be ashamed of that. This time should feel celebratory. Because why should you be hiding your pregnancy?”

There’s no question that Rihanna really understood the assignment when it came to her pregnancy — and, specifically, how to respond to it. But there have been plenty of other times when she understood the assignment, as well.
